Before the Target haul, I just want to mention that following me on Instagram is the best way to find out about deals as they're happening! I usually post about the freebies I get, such as this HUGE hand cream from B&BW that I got with any purchase (I bought a hand sanitizer for $1.75). Retail on the cream was $8, so if I were buying that and the PocketBac, I would be paying $9.75+tax! I saved 82% with this deal!
Today's DEAL OF THE DAY goes to this pretty Rimmel Exaggerate waterproof eye pencil in 250 Emerald Sparkle. It's got a smudger on one end and is an automatic pencil, but the best part of this is that I got it for $.33! I printed out a coupon Raining Hot Coupons posted two days ago and redeemed it for $1 off the already reduced clearance price. Score!
If you can't print coupons or miss out on them, another great tip is to get the Sunday paper in your area. They're typically stocked with inserts like Red Plum and Smart Source, which often have similar (or sometimes better) coupons than you can print.
I was able to print out the Rimmel coupon twice from my one computer (which is usually the limit, so don't be afraid to take advantage of that!), so I also got this Scandaleyes pencil in 005 Nude. This will be great to put on my waterline to wake up my eyes when doing dark, dramatic looks.
This Milani LiquidEye pencil in 02 Brown is gorgeous! Another clearance item, I got this for days when I don't feel like going as dark as brown. This went on so creamy and smooth, but after setting it's hardly budged (no, I haven't taken the swatches off the back of my hand yet...).
This is the Milani Infinite Liquid eyeliner in 02 Endless. It's a really pretty dark plum shade liquid liner, but after I opened the lid, I was slightly disappointed by this product. It's a little too gloopy for my tastes ("gloopy" being a technical term, of course) and goes on kind of thick for a liner. As a fun alternative to my usual black, I was hoping this would be easy to control. I'm not 100% sure if that's true now.
Last thing I did was clear out Milani's nail polish clearance items. Their nail polishes usually retail for a bit more than I'd willingly pay, so this was a nice compromise. I picked up the shades "Yellow Whiz" (which totally sounds like another name for pee) and "Silver." I was quite happy with both, as the yellow is a perfect creme shade (which is hard to find!) and the glitter is chunky and easy to apply!
One of the few items I bought today that wasn't on clearance was this e.l.f. studio Lip Exfoliator. I've been really into wearing lipsticks recently and wanted a quick and easy solution to actually making my own exfoliating scrub. This comes in the form of a lipstick, but is used to "scrub" dead skin off your lips to make actual lipstick apply smoother. It smells slightly of vanilla too! I can't wait to use this.
These two are just some essentials that I picked up at Sally's on the way out. I love the scent of this Mango oil (I have the same line for my cuticle 'remover' as well) and I wanted to try out a glass file! I hear they're great for nail breakage. Hopefully this lil' guy keeps my digits strong and peel-free.
What are some great deals you've scored lately?! Let me know in the comments :) I love a good find.
